At the west end of the North Arcade, in place of the usual half-pier, the arch meets the wall in a conical respond, supported on a corbel carved as a human face. Both ends of the South Arcade end in similar responds, again with elaborate foliage designs.

The window at the West end of the South aisle is a typical 13th century lancet ("spear-shaped") window – all the windows would originally have been of this design – but the cusped carving at the top dates from the end of the 15th century.
