Mothers Union Eaton Bray with Edlesborough
We met in the Coffee Tavern on 14th June, with sixteen members present. June opened the meeting with prayers and then welcomed Jenny, a new member.
The speaker was Suzanne Tote, masseuse and beauty care specialist, and Jenny (at her first meeting!) was the model, lying very still at full length on the modelling table. Suzanne has been in practice for twenty years and also teaches students. We were told that the cleansing movement must always be in an upward direction, and is very relaxing. A beauty routine should start from the collar bone, and we were reminded to always use sun cream in hot weather and take plenty of liquids. Marie had brought her camera for the ‘before and after’ photographs!!
Deirdrea gave the vote of thanks for a very interesting and informative demonstration.
Three members' birthdays were celebrated with cake and glasses of wine. The meeting closed with Grace at 4 p.m. New members will always be very welcome.
