Vicar's Letter - December 2006
So many of the pains and sorrows of our modern world are reflected in the Christmas story. Because we want Christmas to be a joyful time of family celebration, we sometimes try to push the darker side of the story away, and so miss its resonances with the sufferings of the world today.
