The North Chilterns Group
Our parish is linked with the benefices of Kensworth, Studham & Whipsnade and Totternhoe, Stanbridge & Tilsworth in the North Chilterns Group Ministry, which celebrates its 20th birthday this year. To mark this anniversary, the Group Council has launched a project to raise at least £1,000 for Keech Cottage, which cares for and supports families in Beds. And Herts. with a dying child or young person under 18. Regular events throughout 2003 will contribute to this project, which will either sponsor a nurse at the Hospice or provide a piece of specialized equipment.
The Group is organizing a Lent Course on Thursday evenings, beginning at 7.45, led by the Revd Elaine Constantine and the Revd Guy Buckler, which will focus on PRAYER. Meetings will take place in the following parish churches: March 11 – Studham, 18 – Stanbridge, 25 – Eaton Bray (with Holy Communion), April 1 – Tilsworth, 8 – Whipsnade.
Everyone will be welcome to join in and profit from any of these meetings.
