Thank You, Norah!

At this year's Annual Meeting of Parishioners, Sally Taylor and Chris Banks were elected Churchwardens for the coming year. Sally has been Churchwarden for the past two years, and Chris has been deputizing for Norah Coates for the past few months.

We are all deeply saddened by the illness which has forced Norah Coates to stand down as Churchwarden, and tribute was paid to Norah's unstinting service over the past four years, as well as during her previous tenure of office. Her wisdom, sensitivity and profound knowledge of the parish have been of benefit to all of us, and everything she did was tackled with enthusiasm, efficiency and good humour.

The whole parish owes her an enormous debt, and our hearts go out to her and Ken and their family, with the loving support of our prayers.
