Goodbye to Coralie
On Sunday 28th August we said our goodbyes to Coralie, thanked her for all she has achieved with us and wished her and Ralph much happiness in Wales. It was a joyous occasion to celebrate her time in Eaton Bray and the large congregation on Sunday morning and again on the following Wednesday which was her last service, spoke volumes about the many friends she has made here.
But now, we must look to the future and the interim arrangements while we await our new vicar. Although a vacancy can be an unsettling time, there are benefits, and one of these is having our minds exercised by hearing the thoughts and words of a variety of preachers. Cover for services is nearly complete up until Christmas, and we look forward to seeing again many clergy friends who have helped us in the past.
We hope we will be able to welcome a new vicar by Easter 2017. Please pray for the right person to help us face the challenges of the future.
