Morning Prayer - Palm Sunday
Thanks to all of those who got in touch to say how uplifting they had found last week's service. Sadly we can no longer record worship in church so this week's service is an audio version. Stephen Burge continues to do sterling work in producing the service and it is lovely that Stephen Axford is able to provide music.
Next week is Holy Week so there will be two additional services available on the St Mary's website and Facebook page. Stephen is leading a 'Stations of the Cross' ready for Maundy Thursday. Gordon is recording 'An hour at the cross' for Good Friday afternoon. The Messy Church Team has put together a pack for children to use over Easter. This will be available on the website. I have also written a letter for April which explains about the concept of Spiritual Communion.
The flowers in St Mary's church yard are looking beautiful at the moment. This is a good place to go as part of your daily exercise!
Wishing you every blessing,
Joy
Here is a video of the Morning Prayer service for Palm Sunday from St Mary's Eaton Bray (5 April 2020). The service can be followed using the Service Booklet for Sunday 5 April 2020.
Following the statement of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, there will be no services at St Mary's, Eaton Bray or All Saints, Dagnall until further notice. We will however, be doing our best to meet the Archbishops' challenge to bring 'church' to people in different ways, so please revisit the St Mary's Eaton Bray Church website and our Facebook page.
