On January 4th, at the 10am service we said goodbye to David Radwell, our organist and musical director. The congregation and choir were sad to see him go as he has contributed so much to the music of the Church and wish him and his family well on their move to Lincolnshire. His post will be advertised in the February issues of See Round and The Door and on St Mary's website. The closing date for applications is February 23rd.

By arrangement with Eaton Bray Parish Council, a Parish Office will be set up in the small committee room of the Coffee Tavern and should be ready for use on February 1st.

The PCC was delighted to hear that St Mary's Church has received two grants towards the cost of the roof repairs - £4,000 from the Beds and Herts Historic Churches Trust (they raise much of their money from the annual sponsored bike and hike which they organise every September) and £5000 from WREN.

The building of the new pulpit can proceed once approval has been received from English heritage.

There will be three courses running during Lent - the North Chilterns Group course on Tuesday evening, Churches Together and the Wednesday afternoon house group.

A monthly Prayer Group will start in April.

Arrangements were discussed for Easter services. There will be a procession at the 10am service on Palm Sunday, services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and Easter Eve as well as the usual Sunday services on Easter Day. There will be no Evensong at Edlesborough this year during the vacancy.
