First of all a big thank you to all those who contributed to the 'Give a tank of petrol' initiative. We have so far raised £420 via the give-a-little online platform, which is a great result.

This weekend it is St Mary's Scarecrow Festival with the theme of 'Heroes'. There are more than 60 entries dotted through the four villages. I hope you will be able to go and see them over the weekend. If you want to know where to find the scarecrows, there will be information on the St Mary's Facebook page. If you are not on Facebook, you can contact Barbara Morton for details. We are encouraging all those who have entered scarecrows and those who are viewing them to make a donation via the give-a-little online platform which will be split between St Mary's Church and Dunstable Foodbank. There will be photos of some of the scarecrows and the winners will be announced next week.

The Sunday Service will be available to view on St Mary's Facebook page, on the church website and on YouTube. If you know of someone who is not online but would like to receive a copy of the service, please get in touch. Don't forget St Mary's will be open for private prayer on Sunday between 11am and 4pm and on Wednesday from 10am to 4pm.

Let's hope for a good weekend of weather as we visit all the scarecrows and enjoy the creative talent on display.

Every blessing,
Joy
