Message from Joy - Trinity 14
You will all have heard about the latest change in Covid-19 regulations and the 'Rule of 6' which now applies. However, Church Services are exempt from this ruling so we will continue to meet together, safely socially distanced and wearing our face coverings. Bishop Alan writes: 'We can be grateful that the Government has heard the Church's pleas that public worship is not a social gathering, but as the Archbishop of Canterbury has tweeted "the work of God, giving the strength to love and serve."'
It was wonderful to be able to share in Holy Communion with congregations on Sunday and Wednesday. That pattern will continue with services at 10am on both days. We will still be providing online worship via the church website, St Mary's You Tube page or on the church Facebook.
Can I also remind you of the confidential Prayer Chain for those who would like us to pray for them. Contact Angela Dunford if you have a prayer request.
We will be supporting the Bishop of St Alban's Harvest Appeal 2020 to help the people of Nepal rebuild their lives through beekeeping businesses. More details will follow about the appeal and how you can help.
Wishing you every blessing,
Joy
