Message from Joy - First Sunday of Advent

I am delighted that the church will be able to reopen for services on 2^nd December. The Wednesday 10am Eucharist will take place in church on 2^nd December and we will be back for Sunday worship on 6^th December. If you are coming to a service in church please don't forget to bring a face covering. Meanwhile St Mary's is open for private prayer this Sunday 11am-4pm and will be open until 4pm after the Morning service on Wednesday for individuals wishing to pray in church.

This Sunday marks the beginning of Advent and I have put together a new liturgy for the online service. It includes the lighting of the Advent candles with some responses. When we return to church there will be an Advent wreath there. But you may like to make your own version at home. Or you may like to light a candle (observing appropriate safety measures!) as part of your worship at home as you join in the online service.
